My blogging days begin

I know that this is not about me, but before we embark here, I have to share that only a place like Rwanda could get me to blog. I don't say that as any kind of comment on bloggers. I read them, and enjoy them, but have not had the capacity to generate them until now. Right here at the top, I will ask for your forgiveness for my sloth-like pace in reporting back to you about our incredible trip. In fact, I am going to take the year to write about the many facets of this amazing community and the people we are just beginning to know there. If you have sponsored a child with us from this community, THANK YOU! We were thrilled to see the work that is taking place, and think that you will be thrilled too. Please check back. I am going to share stories along with other people who went on the trip with us. If you are not sponsoring a child yet, please consider it! We are asking our audience to sponsor children from one community, Gisanga Rwanda, so that we can work together as a community.
