Please consider calling your senator today about voting yes for the Child Protection Compact Act! It just takes a couple of minutes. Learn more at www.IJM.org/nationalcallinday
okay sara, i didn't do this, but i just wanted to let you know that i just discovered your music. i had recently downloaded the wailin' jenny's because i love the misty river band and they are similar. i was looking for something similar, but it occurred to me that maybe i could find someone singing about God that sounded like the wailin' jenny's or the misty river band and after much looking i found you on itunes. thank you for your music, really. it's a big deal for me to download music in the christian music genre because i am a flailing liberal christian your genre of music has tended to be, well, not of interest to me. (oh and if you are interested, i wrote this about downloading your music. and thanks for the free album. when i'm no longer a phd student i'll buy more music and leave a tip in your virtual tip jar.
oh oops, it got rid of the link to the post i wrote about downloading your music.. if you are interested.. you probably aren't. i know that musicians are very busy folks. but in case you are: http://www.rivervision.com/upwp/?p=2182
Sara your blog is so powerful, thank you! Your music ministers to me in a big way and God has really blessed me through your lyrics. I saw you in concert when you came to Rwanda when I was living there. You speak so beautifully about things that are really on my heart. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
I am a mom, wife, singer-songwriter living in Minnesota. I started this blog to keep in touch with our community, listeners, friends, especially those who have joined in our partnership with Food for the Hungry and International Justice Mission. I love to be with friends and family, read, run, and converse. My off-line life is full, my on-line life anemic, but I enjoy sharing news of my favorite places and people, and I love hearing from you!
Thank you to the 900 individuals and families who have partnered with us and the community of Gisanga, Rwanda so far. All conversations about Rwanda are tagged so you can learn more about the community and our partnership there.
I called both of our Senators. They are both co-sponsors of the CPCA. We are praying for this to be passed.
