Lausanne

Today we are on our way to Cape Town, South Africa for Lausanne, a global congress of Evangelical church and lay leaders. We are honored to be a part of the US delegation, and long to share the experience with you! One hundred and eighty-seven countries will be represented by a total of 4500 delegates, meeting to pray, worship together, and humbly ask God for direction. Lausanne was founded by Billy Graham, John Stott and Christianity Today in 1966 - this is the third such congress. Learn more about Lausanne at Lausanne.org But also participate! The site was built to include as many people as possible in this global conversation. In a small way you are invited to listen into our part of the experience and thoughts as Troy will be daily uploading short "twitter-sodes" (mini 1min episodes on twitter). 6. I'm so sad I only looked at this now...! I Live in Cape Town, and yes you busy, but it's not every day you are in South Africa...:) I was also going to mail you before seeing this to say thanks for the free album as in South Africa the music distributors havent' brought in your music for years, the last CD we had being Add to the Beauty! And currently for me shipping music is too expensive...But so glad you came to conference and to Cape Town. Bless you! (I could write some more of my heart, but my time is limited and just had to respond to this blog!)
